Car Speakers

People keep telling you how to take good care of your vehicle’s stereo speakers. But did you know the major ways they get damaged? Read more… 1. Overlook the maximum wattage of the speakers. If, for instance, the speakers have been rated at110 watts maximum, this would mean that top wattage you’ll play with those speakers is 110 watts. True, you’re at your liberty to add a ‘cool’ stereo system, which comes with maximum amplification power of 300 watts, but when you blast that system to the 300-watt capacity, it’ll demolish your car’s speakers immediately.

2. Overlook the minimum wattage of the speakers. Yes, you guessed right… I’m telling you the story on the opposite side. If speakers are powered by lower power amplifiers, this would as well get damaged when you go on fire with blasting sound. If you play a lower power system too loud on those speakers, the sound waves would get distorted, and such distortion, too, would demolish the speakers. 3. Crank them without caring about any maximum and/or minimum wattage. Though you’re uncertain of the highest capacity of the car’s speakers, cranking those to the maximum for prolonged period of time would definitely damage them. 4. Hook those speakers up to any home based stereo system. The majority of the automobile stereo speakers don’t come equipped for handling the amplified output that are generally found in nearly all home based stereo systems. So if you want to demolish your vehicle’s speakers, you should hook those up to high power home based systems and blast the music.
